The holidays are back and once again, it is time to take a
vacation. Last year, I was not prepared for the horrors that lingered outside
my front door. However, this year, I did a little “stakeout” and came up with a
few important tips for traveling abroad.
First, do not leave your house
unattended. Buglers tend to strike during this season, when there is no one home.
Secondly, book your flight
and hotel reservation in advance. Last minute rushes will delay your departure
and you might have to settle for a lousy motel, just like me.
On this third
point, mark your luggage clearly. That is unless
you plan to go shopping for new ones at your destination.
The last and most
crucial thing is to carry a map or have a tour guide. New countries can set you in a tailspin.
Trust me, getting lost in Paris works only in movies.
